ABOUT THE SHOW

The Raleigh Ensemble Players Theatre Company marks the close of its 25th Anniversary Season celebrations by reexamining this harrowing and deeply moving play about the persecution of homosexuals during the Holocaust. Voted the #1 production from REP's 25-year history by our audience, BENT celebrates the power, resilience and beauty of the human spirit, as well as our capacity as human beings to love and be loved.

IMPORTANT: REP will embrace its original method for the telling of BENT's story. Audience members will travel through and stand within close proximity to the actors during the play's first act. During Act 2, the audience will be seated on benches and the floor. Accommodations can be made with prior notice; please notify the box office when making reservations.

BENT contains material that is graphic and explicit in nature; it is intended for mature audiences.To ensure the safety of all involved, specific instructions concerning the interaction with the actors and movement patterns will be given prior to entering the theatre. Individuals not following these instructions will be ejected without refund.

Note: No performance on Friday May 2nd.

Note: We are experiencing large attendance for BENT and the theatre can get warm, so feel free to dress casually and comfortably.

Reservations will be guaranteed with a credit card (Visa or Mastercard ) and will be charged only in the event that the reservation is not cancelled 24 hours prior to the performance date. You may choose any method of payment (cash, check, credit card) when you arrive on performance days to pick up your tickets.
