Raleigh Ensemble Players needs you! Would you like to be a part of the most innovative, daring theatre company in the triangle? Of course you would! REP needs volunteers for their evening performances and Sunday matinees. If you are a people person, or are looking for a theatre experience, or just love the theatre, then we’ve got a place for you! And if that’s not enough, by volunteering you’ll have a chance to meet the cast and crew, and receive a free ticket to the show you’re helping to make happen! To Volunteer fill out our form by Clicking Here, and we'll make sure to add you to the mailing list and be in contact with any other additional information. Concessions REP is in need of volunteers to help man our concessions booth. This would involve selling drinks and light snacks. You need to be 18 or older to volunteer with a preference for those 21 and over since there will be alcohol at the concessions table. Special Events It’s time to party and REP needs your help to make it happen! We are looking for party people and party planners to help decorate, host, and/or organize various receptions, reunions, and fundraisers; including the mega event of the year MARDI GRAS! Raffles At every performance we will be holding a 50/50 Raffle. REP will be awarding interim prizes thoughout the year. At the end of the 25th Anniversary Season a final winner will be called for the large cash drawing. We are looking for individuals to sell raffle tickets during the shows, as well as assist in awarding the winning ticket! Volunteers for Raffle must be 21 or older. Box Office Do you have or want box office experience? Do you like getting to know people and having them get to know you? If so, then we’ve got the perfect place for you, in our box office! We need box office volunteers to sell tickets for our shows as well as make sure reserved tickets are honored. Volunteers for Box Office must be 18 or older. Front of House ‘Hi and thank you for coming. May I see your ticket please? Enjoy the show!’ Yep, it’s that simple. Technical Do you love theatre and love working with your hands, but know you are not about to get up on stage and DO THAT! Well, we still need ya backstage too! Take this opportunity to learn a new skill, for example, wood-working, making props, sewing, project management, leadership, and/or organization. There are many opportunities where no prior skill is required A crew member will probably need to commit to a few nights of time outside of performance times. These will be during a rehearsal where you can get taught how to perform your duties, and the remainder will be the nights of the performances you will be working on. C’mon over and be apart of the family. |
